Facebook in decline?
Facebook like MySpace? According to research, yes, in the sense that the social network founded by Zuckerberg could have the same fate as its predecessor, and suffer a progressive loss of users.
The "beauty" is that the research in question dates back to 2004, on the occasion of the first decade of the birth of Facebook. Here it was called an "infection" which, after reaching its peak, would have experienced a rapid decline between 2015 and 2017, even losing 80% of its patrons.
Did these Princeton University scholars speak too soon? Are they wrong? Data in hand, we can say that from 2012 to today there has actually been a decline (not even that slight), but it is not certain that we will then arrive at such a catastrophic descent. We'll see.
