Eyelash extensions: what is their cost and how long do they last?
There are now numerous centers specialized in eyelash extensions and thickening which, within a couple of hours, can completely change the appearance of your gaze. The results can be truly amazing, but the costs are also not negligible especially if you consider that every 2-3 weeks you will have to touch up your lashes to replace those that you will naturally lose.
Basically you can choose between two different application techniques:
- eyelash extension: one extension is applied to each individual eyelash with cosmetic glue. The operation is done with eyes closed: a patch is used to divide the upper lashes from the lower ones (which are not touched), then proceed with the application with forceps. The result is long and curved lashes, with a much more pronounced fan effect than that created by mascara, which is not recommended (also because it becomes useless).
- thickening of the eyelashes: the way of application is the same, only the fact that instead of attaching a single extension, a fan of eyelashes is applied to each single eyelash, with an extra voluminous effect.
The first session will cost you from a minimum of 150 to a maximum of 300 euros and for the touch-ups it will depend on how long you will let it pass. A retouching after 2 weeks costs around 50 euros, but a lot depends on the center where you will carry out the treatment, which is not recommended if your lashes are not perfectly healthy.
