Do you remember Dolly Parton? At the age of 74 he launched the #DollyPartonChallenge

Being 74 years old and creating a meme that goes viral on all social networks. We are taught by the queen of country music, the one and only Dolly Parton.

Songwriter, actress and aunt of Hanna Montana. If today we listen to singers like Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift it is also thanks to the contribution that this irrepressible girl has given to the country music scene. A woman with extravagant looks and the confident attitude of a true cow girl.

Elvis Presley called her "Iron Buttefly", because of the symbolic two of spades Dolly received when she refused to give him half the rights to "I Will Always Love You", of which he wanted to record a cover following the global success that the single had obtained.

And then the "80s and the debut in the cinema with successful films including" From 9 to 5 ... continuous ", which earned her a Golden Globe nomination. Then we talk about Dollywood and no longer Hollywood because wherever it is she will inevitably leave something of herself when she passes by. This is also the name with which she baptized the amusement park dedicated to her in Pigeon Forge, in Tennessee.

"Dolly Parton: The strings of the heart", the most recent tribute to the "iconicity of the artist". A series by Netflix which retraces the stories of love, faith and family that lie behind eight of his greatest hits, one per episode.

And to stay on the subject of women and music, here is a video with the singers we loved to listen to in 2019 and beyond.

Everyone is crazy about the #DollyPartonChallenge, but what is it all about?

Two days ago, the singer posted on her Instagram page a collage of four photos that sees her portrayed in four put different, one for each social network. A more casual and formal look for Linkedin, a "good girl" Christmas photo for Facebook, a more vintage "indie" style pose for Instagram and, finally, for Tinder (the most popular dating app), a shot that portrays her dressed as a sexy bunny for the Playboy cover she starred in in 1978.

"Find a woman who can be all four", this is the caption used by the country star under the post. A nice message imbued with women empowerment that intends to overcome the compartmentalized division with which, too often, being a woman is conceived. Our personality has a thousand different facets, each of which deserves to be valued. We can be anything we want, serious and professional, but, at the same time and in the appropriate context, exuberant or sensual, without one aspect excluding the other. So, let's stop being half ourselves for fear of superficial judgments that stop at appearances, Dolly Parton tells us!

The shot went around the web, infecting the VIP colleagues who indulged themselves, each posting their own personal collage. But the challenge is not only contemplated for celebrities, or rather, for humans. Animals, paintings, everyone is invited to take part. What are you waiting for?
