Wrinkle creams: how to choose?

There is no one brand of cream that is clearly better than another, but there are some characteristics to consider if we want to buy a valid product.

The first tip is to choose by relying on your skin. Once applied, a cosmetic must absorb quickly and immediately get in tune with the skin.

However, different types of leather correspond to different products:

  • Dry skin has a tendency to thin easily, and will therefore need a combination of ingredients that ensure nutrition and intensive and constant hydration 24 hours a day;
  • Normal skin, on the other hand, will need an anti-wrinkle cream with a moisturizing action, but at the same time smoothing the surface on fine or deep lines and lines;
  • Oily skin will need a lighter, oil-free formulation that hydrates the epidermis, counteracting the unsightly shiny effect and ensures an immediate mattifying effect;
  • Mature skin will need a cream that clearly reduces the appearance of deep lines and wrinkles, uniforms the skin tone and promotes the natural cellular repair process.

How to apply wrinkle cream

Once you have chosen the cream that best suits your needs, it is a question of understanding how to apply it and what are the basic rules for maximizing its effectiveness.
The first password is: constancy. As with anything that involves achieving a result, being consistent and regular is key.
Applying the cream once in a while will not have any effect. The wrinkle cream should be applied every morning, if during the day, or every evening, if at night.

A light circular massage during application is also useful, to facilitate absorption and stimulate circulation.

All movements must be directed from the bottom upwards and in the opposite direction of wrinkle formation: in this way you will help the skin to counteract the force of gravity to which it is constantly subjected.

The extra advice
In the massage technique there is a rule to be respected, which concerns the number of repetitions of each movement. In fact, it is said that by performing the movements an odd number of times (3-5-7 and so on), the treatment that is carried out is more effective. True or not, trying won't hurt!
