Precisely for this reason, once Benedetta Parodi decided to move to La7, Italia1 immediately sought a replacement.

The choice went to TessaGelisio, former host of Sea planet (on Rete4) and a great lover of cooking, as well as ecology.

“We will keep the two winning characteristics of Cottoemangiato: we will therefore propose only simple and fast recipes. We will be in my kitchen, very small, with my pots and utensils that I am so fond of. In this edition, however, we will give space not only to the great classics and regional delicacies, but also to recipes for vegetarians, celiacs and even lactose intolerant, which are never taken into consideration but are many in Italy ", says the new host.

And that's not all: "We will pay attention to health and the environment. I am a big fan of organic and made in Italy products, then I like the famous grandmother's remedies and so every now and then I will give some eco-advice”.

This year there will also be a greater involvement of the public from home: each week a recipe will be created chosen from those proposed by viewers.

The new season of Cottoemangiato will restart on Monday 3 October. The appointment is on Italia1, from Monday to Friday, within the 12.25 pm edition of Studio Aperto.
