Being zen in the office: here are 9 ways to always be calm and relaxed!

1. First ... Breathe!

Overcome by events? Full crisis? Exasperated by your colleague or your boss?
First, take a deep breath. Indeed, 10 breaths, beautiful deep and prolonged. The level of stress and anxiety automatically decreases for a purely physical factor. It will be easier to handle negative emotions.
Tip: breathe through your nose and belly, breathe out through your mouth.

2. Do the cleaning

Tidy up your workspace by getting rid of unnecessary items and temporarily removing those you don't need at the moment. This will make it easier to focus on the priority task of the day. The clutter freezes and paralyzes: even that of the files on your computer.
Order on your desk and order on your PC will facilitate your Zen journey!

3. Exercise

It has been said over and over again: physical activity is definitely beneficial for physical and mental health. Although this may seem paradoxical, consuming energy ... will give you more! The more energy you consume, the more you will have in your body: energy feeds itself. Go for a morning run session or make it your goal to hit the gym, do yoga or CrossFit, at least 3 times a week!

4. Don't dramatize

Are things not going your way? Quarrel with the boss? It's not the end of the world. Tomorrow or in the afternoon it will be better. Think about the romantic dinner that awaits you.

5. Think positive

Learn to see things from a better angle, the glass half full, but without lying to yourself: still face all the challenges, work and otherwise, they will help you improve.

6. Drink water

Staying hydrated is essential: for productivity, for health, for mood. Drinking water oxygenates the brain. Maybe add a slice of lemon or cucumber or a little ginger to the glass.

7. Plan your agenda

The accumulation of tasks is one of the major stressors, especially when the deadlines are tight. To have a better perception of the work that awaits you and to carry it out better, planning your calendar will allow you to better prioritize and to improve the flow of activities, without losing sight of any.

8. Take some time for yourself

Change the air every now and then, if you can take a walk, have a coffee. It will only do you good and then when you go back to your desk (because you have to go back ...) you will be more productive.

9. Do meditation

This is not a cliché: meditation can really help. Try observing your own thoughts, study yourself: just doing it requires calm and relaxation! Meditation removes harmful moods.
