Why is the oven glass never cleaned?

The oven has an insulated glass. This means that it is an internal and external double glass with a gap placed between the two glass plates. The oven glass is difficult to clean if the dirt gets stuck inside the cavity, between the glasses. This usually happens when the gaskets of which the oven is provided wear out due to wear and allow residues of oil and steam to enter. If your oven never gets as clean as you want, you are probably facing a problem of worn gaskets. Some ovens allow you to easily disassemble the doors to carry out a thorough cleaning of the glass plates but not all ovens on the market provide for this automatic disassembly. If your oven does not provide it, do not rely on DIY but rather contact a technician or the specific assistance of your oven who will be able to advise you on what to do.

Specific products for glass

There are also specific products for the glass in your home that can also be used for oven glass. However, avoid using them in a warm or hot oven because like all chemicals they could give off unpleasant odors and release irritating substances. Always use it outside the oven, and if you choose to use it also for the inside of the oven glass, rinse with a little water to prevent the product from coming into contact with your gastronomic preparations during cooking.
