Home DIY / Magnets? Yes, but with recycled items!

Do you have a lot of coca-cola, beer or water bottle caps in glass and don't know what to do with them? Why not re-use them by creating magnets that you can use to hang notes, drawings or photos on your fridge?

Gülcin Atas, Marketing Specialist of DaWanda, the European market in which to buy original and handmade items by artisans, designers and creatives from all over the world, as well as a DIY enthusiast, teaches us how to do it!

Follow the step by step photo tutorial!

1. Prepare what you need

It takes very little to make this DIY: you obviously need bottle caps as materials and for the cover you can use eco-leather, fabric, paper, photos, excerpts from newspapers or books that you may have to throw away because they are damaged. Be creative!

2. Draw the circles

Place all the chosen material on the table and draw the perimeter of the cap crown with a pencil.

3. Cut!

Cut out the drawn circles. Try to be precise enough so that the fabric fits perfectly on the caps.

4. Paste!

Glue the cut-out circles inside the bottle caps and glue the magnets to the back.

5. Et voila! The game is done!

Now you just have to use your magnets!
