#BoicotGarnier. The company responds to the controversy of social networks

For a few days, the well-known skincare brand Garnier has been involved in a storm of controversy after some images appeared on Facebook that portray Israeli soldiers with complimentary products from the company.

The network was immediately unleashed following the hashtag #BoicotGarnier, but the brand immediately responded to the criticism through a press release.

Garnier's policy is not to take anyone's side in any conflict or political matter.

This initiative was also a real surprise for us, and like many users, we learned about it through the same social networks.

After carrying out proper investigations, we found that it was a unilateral act conducted by a local distribution company that sent about 500 of our products for free.

We at Garnier disapprove of this local initiative and are very sorry that some of our customers have felt offended by this initiative.
