After the application of a local anesthetic cream to reduce the slight discomfort of the infiltration - however generally well tolerable - the doctor proceeds to inject the useful substances (the most used are hyaluronic acid, vitamins, amino acids precursors of collagen and " elastin, PDRN and botulinum toxin) just below the epidermis of the wrinkle with a very thin disposable needle.

The total duration of the intervention does not exceed 45 minutes and immediately afterwards you can resume normal professional and family life. Only slight redness will appear and, in rare cases, some spots of very small bruising may appear which will disappear over the course of 24-48 hours.

Biostimulation: the results

The results are immediately visible and last from 2 to 5 months; once this period has elapsed, a new course of treatment can be repeated.

There are basically 3 effects that you will get through biostimulation:

- Deep hydration: due to the immediate recall of water in the tissues.

- Collagen stimulation: this effect occurs approximately 80 - 90 days after the first infiltration.

- Action against free radicals, produced by polluting factors and solar radiation.

Biostimulation: contraindications

Biostimulation cannot be performed on areas where there are infections or inflammatory processes (such as active acne or herpes) or in case of subjective hypersensitivity to certain substances.

Furthermore, to limit the risk of hematomas, in the fifteen days preceding and following the treatment, it is good to avoid taking aspirin or anticoagulant drugs and apply a very high protection sunscreen (Spf 50+).

Furthermore, biostimulation is not indicated in the case of mature skin, with marked wrinkles and loss of tone.
