Organic is growing in Italy

According to data released by ISMEA, the first half of 2012 would have brought a 6.1% increase in sales, with a volume of approximately 3 billion euros. This would place Italy in fourth place in Europe for the consumption of organic products, behind Germany, France and the United Kingdom. According to AIAB, Coldiretti and Legambiente, behind this growth there would be the desire for safe food with a clear geographical origin.

Then the organic market is also favored by the multiplication of sales channels, both local and online: in fact, it has gone from 106 to 167. Com "is the typical customer? Fixed and no longer occasional.

We can therefore say that the organic culture has now also put its roots in our country.
