2014 World Cup: this is how fashion is given to charity

The 2014 World Cup is an opportunity for many things: cheering, recovering a (national) team spirit and even charity. This is the case, for example, of LuisaViaRoma, the famous luxury store in Florence, which together with Adidas has launched a very special charity project, called Make Kids Happy.

The idea was to involve many internationally renowned designers, asking them to decorate the Brazuca, the official ball of the 2014 World Cup underway in Brazil. The designer balls are now up for auction until the World Cup final, and the purpose of the auction is obviously to donate the proceeds to an association dedicated to the children of the favelas. The Gol de Letra Foundation, to which the proceeds of the auction will go, works to improve the lives of children in the favelas of Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro through art, culture, sport.
