What would you say if your daughter got married to a man at twelve? Here's what happened in Norway ...

Thea, a twelve-year-old blonde girl, announces her marriage to a 37-year-old man, to be held on October 11th. The girl constantly creates and updates a website with the story of the preparations, the white dress, the cake, the invitations. It happens in Norway and obviously this triggers a flood of controversy, including reports to the police and public debates.

What happens constantly in countries considered distant from our culture, the marriage by proxy of girls torn from their families, indeed often forced by their own parents, obviously causes a scandal only when it happens "at home". That's why this event, which is actually a viral advertising campaign, has hit the mark. The indignation and scandal for a girl who marries an adult is right, but it should also be so for those girls who are really forced to marry every day. The campaign, conceived for the International Children's Day which falls on 11 October, therefore hits the mark, and remains etched in the memory thanks to the strong emotions unleashed.
