When it comes to weight loss solutions, a new study is published every day and for once ... there is a different one than usual! Researchers at the University of Dijon have shown that smelling fruit would push us to favor healthier foods , according to reports from the French website Top Santé. To reach this conclusion, the scientists would bring together 115 people, men and women, for a study focused on communication during meals.

In fact, the participants were divided into two groups. The first was closed in a room where the scent of pear lingered. The second, in an odor-free room. Almost immediately, the latter were invited to move to a new room where they had to choose an appetizer, a main course and a dessert, having two options for each. The starters available were grated carrots or cold meat, the main course lasagna or salmon with vegetable risotto, and the sweet brownie or apple compote.
