Giorgio Armani's Acqua for Life returns for 2014

The 2014 edition of Acqua for Life, the initiative in support of countries where drinking water is a luxury for the few, is about to end, born from the collaboration between Giorgio Armani and Green Cross International for the Acqua for Life initiative. The initiative, in addition to continuing to support West Africa and Latin America, will also reach South Asia for the first time, installing new drinking water systems in Sri Lanka.

The Acqua for Life project, launched in 2011, has so far made it possible to help more than 60 communities and schools through the installation of pumps, wells and collection points for rainwater. Thanks to the collaboration between Giorgio Armani and Green Cross International, Ghana, Bolivia, China and Mexico have been able to benefit from 150 million liters of drinking water every year. Furthermore, since the launch of Acqua for LIfe, a strong increase in schooling has been recorded. in the countries involved in the initiative.

For 2014 Acqua for Life has set itself a new goal: to install water systems in schools and villages (located in Africa, Latin America and Asia) and to reach three new countries in the Sri Lanka, Ivory Coast and Senegal project.

Until 30 June 2014 it will be possible to contribute to Acqua for Life by purchasing one of the Acqua di Giò and Acqua di Gioia perfumes (50ml and 100ml), the entire proceeds from the sale of perfumes will go to support the Giorgio Armani and GCI project.
