8 reasons why it would be great to be a dog!

We have always known the world of man's best friend through the eyes of his beloved master, but if Fido could talk and tell what it feels like to be a dog, what would he say? We tried to imagine it, making Oban, a collie "talk" blue merle who explains why it is so nice to be a dog, if anyone still has doubts about it. Here's what he "tells us": I have 4 legs, a tail (short) and fur (always, even when it is very hot outside ) In other words, I'm a dog and I'm really happy with it. Now I'll tell you why it's great to be born a dog: I have 8 reasons!

1. We know love

Don't believe those humans who say we dogs have no feelings. We have, and how, and one of the strongest sensations we feel is just love. There are those who say that the only thing that matters in the world is love and we dogs know it well. How lucky are we?

2. We are always hungry

You might say, quite a problem. But no. It is the old question of the glass half full: being hungry always means that we do not miss the opportunity to eat delicacies! Here it is good to remember that very often the treats for dogs are very different from those of humans. Not always, but sometimes yes. We want to talk about how good is the freshly fertilized soil? If we were never hungry, perhaps by finding a field full of manure we would not try it and we would miss out on something fantastic.

3. Our sense of smell is prodigious

We know the world through the nose. To give some examples, we just need to smell the air to know who is around, discover things that have been hidden underground for days, "read" the messages that other dogs have left (with their pee), know many things on a new meeting (smelling the under tail of the other dog). To stay on the basic, think that for us every exit even in the usual posts if done with the necessary trappings - that is, without haste and leaving us time to smell everything that we want for the time we need - it's a "sensory experience;" if we then put in a little rain or even a little snow, well it's like we discover a new world every time.

4. Our masters

We want to talk about how much they love us? They take care of us, pamper us, treat us, spoil us, educate us, entertain us, buy us delicious baby food ... We are too lucky to have our humans!

5. We are protagonists of the big screen!

Lassie, Beethoven, Pongo, Hooch, Marley ... do they remind you of anything? Of course, they are the protagonists of very famous films! Not bad being a Hollywood star, right? Not to mention the programs dedicated to us that are on TV. In short, I feel like saying that the world of show business without dogs would not be the same.

6. We help humans

Speaking of those of us who are somewhat tied to the past (I am one of them ...), I cannot fail to mention those who help humans with the flock or in hunting: there are those who are good at grouping them, who are good at defending them, who to hunt in the water, who on land, etc etc. But then there are other very important things we know how to do for our beloved humans: we help people who have physical problems to be more autonomous (I can say that I get moved every time do we meet a person he does not see accompanied by his dog?), it even seems that it is enough to stay in the room with us to reduce the stress level in humans, we help to find those who have been overwhelmed by avalanches, we discover hidden drugs, we help to find explosives ... In short, we do a lot of really nice things with and for humans.

7. We have few concerns

If we have a good owner, we dogs don't really have to worry about anything. A good owner protects, nourishes, reassures, cuddles, cares, entertains, educates ..., in a nutshell, makes sure that his little one (we are small even when we are big in size, it is an emotional matter) is well physically and psychologically. And what do we have to do in return? Not so much, don't be so argumentative, don't be too insistent when they don't want to go out, let them sleep peacefully. I would say it went pretty well!

8. We all speak the same language e

Yes, we dogs among us all speak the same language and the rules of good manners are the same everywhere in the world. Let me give three examples: the tail lowered under the poo means fear from Australia to Portugal, everywhere, while to express the desire to play a happy bark is made and you put your front legs down and poo in the air both in Mongolia whether in Tanzania, as in Milan, London, New York and Saint Tropez; or, when another dog approaches you don't run straight towards him looking him in the eye, it doesn't matter if you are Chinese or Puerto Rican, he is rude everywhere. idea? I hope so! I can assure you, it is very comfortable!
